Instructions to make Yellow pulao:
- Soak rice in water for 10 min. In the meantime cut the onion into slices and in the grinder grind tomato and one green chilli.
- Put oil in cooker and add jeera. Cook for 1/2 minute. Add onion and saute till light brown.
- Now add tomato and green chilli paste and cook till dark red. Now add all the masalae and mix well and cook for 2 min. Then finally add rice and water.
- Close the cooker and cook till one whistle on high flame and now slow down the flame. Cook for 5-7 min. Now close the gas and open cooker after 5-7 min.
- Your yellow pulao are ready to serve. Take them out on a rice tray. Put pomegranate seeds all over as shown in pic. On the borders of the tray put kheere slices to make it more attractive Happy cooking!!!
