In a medium sauce pan placed over medium heat, combine the pineapple juice, ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, oyster sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Add the spring onions and the chicken and stir fry until chicken is nearly cooked. Drain the pineapple juice from the pieces into a bowl. Add the cornflour to the juice and mix well.
Steps to make Pineapple chicken:
- Heat a pan add oil add the chicken cover the bottom of pan cook 5 minutes covered
- Turn chicken add garlic and salt cover cook 7 minutes
- Add pineapple, pineapple juice, vinegar and wine if you use it
- Cover cook for 5 minutes boiling
- Mix pineapple juice and cornstarch well together remove the chicken and add cornstarch solution stirring constantly add water if to thick
- Add chicken back coating chicken throughly let sit 4 minutes sere hope you enjoy
- Sere with rice if you like
Add the pineapple pieces to the chicken in the frypan and cook two more minutes. Add the pineapple juice/cornflour mixture to the pan and bring to the boil. Stir in the honey, teriyaki sauce and pepper. Add pineapple and chicken; heat through. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the pineapple juice, soy sauce, chicken stock, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, garlic and cornstarch.
