Steps to make Fondant:
  1. Pour cold water in a small bowl.
  2. Sprinkle gelatin in the water,let it bloom for 5 minutes
  3. Place the bowl over simmering water stir the mixture until clear.
  4. Pour in glucose syrup & glycerin and stir
  5. Add shortening, flavour & colour
  6. In a large bowl, sieve icing sugar and CMC.
  7. Add the gelatin mixture to the icing sugar mix with a wooden spoon then knead till it is not sticky and it's pliable.
  8. Cover with shortening and wrap with a cling wrap and stor in an airtight container.
