  5. After this add sugar and half cup water and let it get cook for 5mins
  6. After five mins it will be ready then add 1cup milk powder mix it properly and after 1min turn off the gas
  7. Beetroot and carrot halwa is ready
  8. Serve it with puris or simply also you can have it.

This beetroot halwa is very high in calories and sugar. The addition of milk and condensed milk makes it rich and creamy. You can make this by adding jaggery instead of sugar. But the taste will change completely. This Indian pudding with grated beets turns heavenly.
