  2. Get 4 tbsp sugar

  6. Make ready 1/4 cup milk(full fat milk)

It will give it a nice and creamy texture, that skim milk or low-fat milk won't give. Khoya - I like to add Khoya in my Halwa, but it is completely optional.   1. Take grated beetroot in thick bottomed pan add 2tbsp ghee, switch on the flame, saute it for five minutes,
  2. Add milk, cook until milk gets evoparates, add sugar and keep stirring to avoid burning,
  3. When it thickens, and almost done add cardamom powder and remaining ghee, saute well cook for two to three minutes, turn off the flame, garnish with some chopped almonds, and now you are ready to serve your delicious beetroot halwa
