Bitter gourd or pavakkai(in tamil) is mostly made at my place in the form of pitlai or When nags posted this bitter gourd fry in her space a long back i tried that and so. - Wash the bittergaurd(I used 6). Remove the seeds & cut the vegetable into thin slices
- In a pan add 3-4 tbsp of olive oil, bittergaurd, turmeric & salt. Keep roasting until the vegetable is almost cooked.
- Then add 5 tsp of channa flour/besan & red chilli powder. Mix it well & Let it cook for abt 5 mins on low flame. In the end add 1/2tsp of powdered jaggery.
